Position: Staff Physical Therapist - Sports and Performance

Schedule - Full Time

Salary: 65K-100K

Location: 401 Dividend Dr, Ste M, Peachtree City, GA 30269

Description: A Performance Physical Therapist (PT)  at The Mobile Athlete, LLC (TMA) will provide the most exceptional clinical care and customer service to our community of athletes.  This PT will continue to learn and grow in clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills during their tenure at TMA while enjoying the low stress work environment and lower caseload, providing 1-1 care.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (In-Clinic) / Performance and Sports Medicine Physical Therapist in Low Volume Clinic (~25 patients/week)

Too many physical therapists these days are experiencing burnout and frustration in traditional healthcare settings.

Hours of notes…frustrating battles with insurance companies…a non-stop assembly line of patients that you never have enough time with…

We want to help people, but so many DPT’s are burned out by high patient volumes, too many demands on their time and attention, and too much insurance red tape.

What would it be like to get rid of all that and simply do what you know to do – treat the patient in front of you according to what they actually need?

Don’t leave the profession you love, come work for a clinic that will let you practice to your full capacity!

Benefits of the position:

  • Working with an amazing group of people!

  • Seeing 1 patient per hour

  • Treating on average 25, 1-hour appointments per week

  • Being in an environment where you will become a more skilled and professional clinician and hopefully a better human! We value not only providing the best experience possible for our athletes but also providing the best experience possible for each of our employees.

  • Almost all of our athletes are direct access clients who seek us out for treatment and are motivated to improve.

  • Most of our athletes are active adults, and we help them achieve their short term goals but also partner with them for long term health.

  • A GREAT work-life balance.  We give our DPTs considerable time outside of treating hours to finish notes and invest in continued growth via group mentoring and education within a 40-hour work week.

  • Instead of filling every working hour with patient care, we spend time together each week as a group: sharpening our clinical skills, working out together, and investing in ourselves so we can be better DPTs and better humans.

  • Competitive bonus structure with plenty of room for growth

  • Generous Time OFF

  • Continuing Education Stipend and Professional Development Opportunities

  • Company Outings and Happy Hours

  • Health/Wellness Perks + Gym Membership Stipends

  • Health Benefits

Who are we?

The Mobile Athlete: Physical Therapy + Performance Clinic is a performance physical therapy practice providing specialized and individualized treatment for the athlete and motivated mover. At The Mobile Athlete, we focus on solving our athletes' problems and help them crush their goals.  We aren’t in the game of “quick fixes.”  We help our athletes move better for longer.

Why the name “The Mobile Athlete?”

The name “The Mobile Athlete” has multiple meanings.  At its infancy, The Mobile Athlete was a mobile practice, treating athletes where they live, work and play.  The Mobile Athlete moved quickly to a physical location and still offers mobile services to both the individual athlete and communities of athletes.  However, this position is an in-clinic position.

The Mobile Athlete also refers to the athletes we work with.  As DPTs we know that many athletes suffer from a lack of mobility and/or stability which increases their risk of injury and decreases their performance. As DPTs we know how to identify these deficits to help our athletes move better for longer.

The Mobile Athlete also refers to us as practitioners.  At The Mobile Athlete we want our practitioners to prioritize their health and lead from the front.  We build time into the work week to improve on our own mobility and performance goals.
